Downwind 24/7 by right-angle
Downwind 24/7
the Smelter in Sudbury, the second highest exhaust stack in the world, simply puts the emissions into the Trade-winds and away they go.  It says a lot about how we are polluting our planet, maybe the Solar System. Are we becoming the Skid-mark in the Milky Way.
This is 97 consecutive and separate, 8 second images, stacked together. Roughly a 13 minute exposure showing the rotation of the planet against the thousands of stars. The Stack is the only stationery item in this image.
Willows by right-angle
on the edge of darkness, looking up into a nice cluster of Willow Trees. On the other side of the trees is a brightly lite parking lot. The sky was black with the Moon and 2 planets visible. The 30 second exposure shows incredible detail in the bark, and some wonderful movement of the Willow tails.
This is a fresh take on an older image. Stronger cropping and a more contrasty approach.
Nowhere near the Beach by right-angle
Nowhere near the Beach
a friend is turning an old greenhouse into a Yoga room. They have an old Shell tapestry, hanging in front of one of the upper windows. I had to take a couple shots before leaving. I will be going back, there was a lot of stuff in the way. And the colour version is just crazy…

Shells by right-angle
loving black and white, sometimes makes choosing which pictures to work with very hard. The colours jump out of this one. So glad I noticed from outside and asked to see them from the inside…
all about the numbers by right-angle
all about the numbers
there 5 ships tied up in a winter harbour for mechanical maintenance. While walking around the harbour I noticed how the depth numbers on the vessels lined up.
What a powerful way to wrap up my 2013. Probably the toughest year I have gone through with regards to changing careers, and dragging my ass back up out of the basement…
My Photography has always been the one powerful strong spot that I never have to worry about. The creative thing just happens, then I have to figure out how to make it happen.
Internationally, my work is becoming more popular, and personally, I still consider myself to be on a 3 year hot-streak. Lots of progress and plans / ideas on the active burner.
I am still thankful that I came across this site 8 years ago. Still, the instant response to Submitted images, from around the planet, is something special to this day.
Now, 8 years after I joined, maybe the Staff can upgrade me… I do need to edit my Gallery ie: ~ 980 images.

Thanks to everybody who has commented, Fav'd or given me a bloody Lhama. I truly do appreciate it all.

And to all the people out there, your work still blows me away daily.

Have a Great Year everybody. And lets try and get along, not blow the frickin planet up, or each other. And give the future generations something to work with.

THANKS, i'm laughing my ass off.
I have to share this link with you.  We all do certain things with experimenting, and I kept this one Great article on Stacking time exposure pictures.  It is a really good article.  Help you get over a bunch of details. Hope you enjoy it.

interesting, didnt expect so much post work.  you utilize it well; the article mentions the importance of location over technique, which was what i was originally drawn to in your demonstrations.  ive still gotta practice more before i make some of the in-camera multiple long exposures ive been wanting to get into.  (not post stuff or single subject things...youve seen my stuff, i gather.)
