Thanks for the compliment. If you look at Lake Huron, in Southern Ontario, along the eastern shoreline, down near the bottom of the lake, you will see two prominent points, that jut out into the Lake. The one closest to Grand Bend, or the Pinery Provincial Park, is the location of Kettle Point. This is a First Nation (Indian) Reserve site, and one of the few locations of the Kettles (concretions) on the planet. The water is very shallow, and I plan on spending a considerable amount of time there throughout the coming spring and summer. Over the years I have been fascinated with images of water, splishing and splashing around rocks from around the planet.... Now I have discovered a playground in my backyard really. If you are ever in this area and wish to be introduced, it would be my pleasure. You will be seeing more, time exposures, star trails etc. Let alone the fact that National Geographic had this section of coast on their list of top places on the planet to watch a sunset... This is it. Lake Huron is a big lake, and yes, the sun sets over the water, not land. Cheers ~ d
Surely reminds me of Lake Superior
in the Winter!
Beautiful shot...
