The Renaissance Hotel

should have moved a bit to the left, and closed that gap in the bottom left area. next time...

the master copy shows off the red carpeting, BUT this one just rocks in B&W

Getting excited about returning to Cleveland. Not for the Year-end company Sales meeting, but because I get to re-shoot this staircase; fix a couple of things I had overlooked, and shoot it with a tripod, not squeezing it to the wall etc etc. And you can bet I will be sneaking around the rest of this old gem, looking for a bit of interesting history. T.B.A.

I will also do some dodging and burning on some of the carpet Hot Spots. that alone will keep the eye moving and present more of a 3d effect. better without the real highlighted areas . one for the techies. carefully, i took this without a tripod, hand held with Image Stabilizer on the 24-105.
1/4 sec exposure, i like it.
will do this shot again, with tripod.
