What a crazy fall this one has been. Super productive, I have been surprised by the number of pictures in general that I managed to create, and a pretty consistent approach.
One of the biggest motivations that onyone could have dreamed of, was that I have been approached by a Design firm from the west coast, and asked to be a contributing photographer for their design team.
Thanks to DEVIANTART, where i have had the luxury of dropping images and sorting through comments for a couple of years now, my work got noticed. And I am submitting images to FARMBOY FINE ARTS / DESIGN, for their use in decorating facilities around the world.
The flower pictures that I created this fall have also garnered me an invitation to a massive Tulip event in Holland next year. Kuekenhof. Where 10 million tulips are on display and the worlds dealers go there to purchase their product.
Really surprised, and very proud, is the only way that I can describe how these invitations feel.
Having been untethered from the working world for 3 months now, it is amazing to actually feel like a full time functioning artist. I have plugged many holes in my portfolio, and made many new contacts.
I will be returning to working world very soon. This journey is not over, but reality is setting in. And this liberty that I have experienced will surely play a role in how much I allow myself to become penned in. But in the meantime . . .
So, if you have not had enough of my flower images yet, there will be one more batch. I have many pictures to digest this weekend and there will be some fresh images uploaded. Today, November the 7th I found these scorching orange and yellow flowers in somebodies front yard. I could not drive past. Sorry folks. I am laughing right now because I cannot believe that I have spent a whole two months shooting flowers. Really, it has never happened before. This saturation if you wish to say, of my desire to shoot one thing. There have been many other subjects, because I rarely do not have my camera near, but I dread to think of the images that I walked right past, because there was nice light on a dandelion...
Thanks to everyone who has bothered to comment. I love the critiques, and am constantly humbled by the spectacular work that just pours out of each of you.
fraternally,

Happy New Year Everybody
What a powerful way to wrap up my 2013. Probably the toughest year I have gone through with regards to changing careers, and dragging my ass back up out of the basement…
My Photography has always been the one powerful strong spot that I never have to worry about. The creative thing just happens, then I have to figure out how to make it happen.
Internationally, my work is becoming more popular, and personally, I still consider myself to be on a 3 year hot-streak. Lots of progress and plans / ideas on the active burner.
I am still thankful that I came across this site 8 years ago. Still, the instant response to Submitted images, from a
10 more views and its 33,000 page views
I was just sniffing through some of the stats, and noticed that The Pillar, is almost at 33 grand page views. 2 years now since it was taken, it sure set me off on a tear. That picture started a lot of others...
Cheers, and Thanks to everybody who is looking, watching etc.

Greetings to any and all that take the the time to read this. I truly appreciate all of the Favs-watches-Collections and Critters that I have received from my fellow members. I am still balancing on that line between Hobby and Career. Shooting at a pro level and being able to pay bills and commitments sometimes seem like two different unrelated world's. With that said, I am committed towards my application to the Magnum Photo agency. Based largely on my body of lifetime work, and the ways that I do and have responded to new environments. Plain and simple. And that is what I am planning out for my summer. A challenge so to speak, to myself,
struck by lightning. not quite
But I have just been notified that I will be having two more images published in a special edition of B&W PHOTOGRAPHY. Next month is the release of their Single Image Edition and I will have two unrelated images in the glossy magazine.
The response from the public to the Color Portfolio edition was great, lots of compliments on my featured "water drops" and even some printing requests from afar.
So that is the kind of feedback we all look forward to.
And with that said, the last couple of submissions I have made to magazines/contests, I have broken the tradition of submitting my old favourites, you know the ones that should be published,
